The Ardeton String Quartet have worked together for over 20 years. They formed a string quartet whilst studying postgraduate music performance, and have been playing together ever since. This means they can blend parts, respond to each other, and craft the perfect performance together quickly and intuitively - saving valuable time, and reaching the highest standards.
The group has made various tv, film, and radio appearances alongside its live work. Highlights include sessions at Real World Studios, appearing on BBC TV, and live sessions with artists on the BBC Introducing programmes. In the classical world, its players have worked with the world's leading conductors and composers, in world-renowned concert halls. This experience allows them to create the perfect phrasing, interpretation and sound drawing upon their wide experience.
The quartet have a small pool of extra players they use for performances, and it is this regular group who are used to augment forces when needed for bigger projects. Remote Recording Session Strings can provide everything from a solo string player to a full string orchestra.
